SSI- Open Water Instructor (1 couple or 2 individuals)

Extra Divers Qantab is looking for new staff members on the 1st of July 2022.

Qualifications:

• 1 couple or 2 individuals – SSI Open Water Instructors (crossover can be arranged).
• Must be fluent in English, a big plus for German and/or French.
• Customer-oriented, able to provide 5-star service for 5-star guests - No 8-5 attitude, as we work from 7 am ‘till…we finish! (sometimes 5 pm, sometimes 6 pm, or 7 pm!)
• Non-smokers are preferred.
• Need to be able to work in a team and, when necessary, independently (leading the boat trips).
• Need to have our complete own full-set gear.
• Need to be physically fit. In Oman weather conditions are nice in winter and tough in summer, no less than 35-40°C, sometimes 45°C (and high humidity).
• Ability to look after the dive center while managers have a day off!

 Duties: 

• Check-in – Equipment setting with guests – reservations by phone, FB, IG, WhatsApp – dolphin tour briefings – snorkeling briefings – dive courses – try dives & promotion – dive guiding - loading/offloading boat – tank filling – boat cleaning, dive center cleaning, equipment cleaning. Everyone must be able to do everything, helping each other.

• Work permit for 1 year (with the possibility of renewal).

• Safe operation (all tanks are regularly visually inspected and hydro tested at our Center).

• Guiding small groups, max 5 guests. Teaching small groups, max 3 guests. Diving always with nitrox, never crowded dive sites.
