Scuba Legends Diving is Looking for PADI OWSI

We are seeking staff for a minimum period of six months, starting beginning/mid November 2022.

Prerequisites:

  • Be at least 25 years old
  • Hold an EU Passport
  • Be fluent at least in German and English (additional languages welcome, advantage if interested in learning languages e.g. Spanish/French
  • Renewed and active status PADI Divemaster/ Assistant Instructor/ Open Water Scuba Instructor (EFR Instructor is an advantage)
  • Have a valid medical statement signed by a hyperbaric doctor (or will visit a doctor upon arrival)
  • Be familiar with all PADI Standards & Procedures, incl. PADI eLearning, use of the PADI’s Pro website
  • Owning a full set of diving equipment as per PADI Standards for professionals including torch, compass, line cutter, SMB & reel
  • Have a professional dive insurance with liability cover as required by PADI EMEA
  • Valid European driving license - Minimum 2 years driver’s license (stick shift)
  • Previous work experience is a plus but not necessary

    Your responsibilities and tasks would include, but are not limited to:

  • Promoting, leading, and conducting the daily diving activities (guiding incl. night dives, teaching, assisting, refresher, DSD’s, snorkel, try dive events)
  • Teaching PADI Courses from beginners level up to professional (according to your qualifications and rankings)
  • Mentoring DMT`s
  • Picking up/ dropping off customers (if necessary)
  • Packing, loading, carrying, cleaning and drying equipment
  • Participating in the daily basic dive center routines & cleaning
  • Keeping equipment, vehicles, and facilities tidy & clean, ensuring the dive centers valuables are well looked after
  • Administrative tasks as required for a dive professional (e.g., logging after diving, prepare dives & students’ paperwork, register DSD’s, process certifications through the dive centers PADI profile)
  • Basic dive center & equipment maintenance, as well as basic assistance in the office when required (e.g., during low season/dry days)
