PADI Open Water Scuba Instructor

Southpoint Divers, a 5-star PADI Dive Shop is hiring PADI Scuba Instructor. 

Task and Requirements:

• Applicants must be certified PADI Scuba instructors.
• This position will include teaching various courses that are offered by Southpoint Divers, and guiding customers on the reef and wreck dives that we have in the surrounding waters of Key West.
• This person must be safety-oriented have great customer service skills and have a positive attitude.
• Must be current and active with PADI and have current liability insurance.
• The position might also have to work a couple of days a week in the dive shop answering phones, making reservations, checking customers in for charters, responding to emails, and selling scuba gear.
• Must be eligible to work in the United States and pass a drug test.
• Having a 50-ton USCG captain’s license and marine diesel mechanic knowledge is a plus.

• 50 -ton USCG captains license
• US work permit
• Legally work in the USA
