PADI Instructor in Puerto Rico

Puerto Rico Diving in Gran Canaria are looking for a PADI Instructor/s to join our team. We are looking for a passionate, hardworking instructor who can start as soon as possible.

About us:

We are a small, friendly family run dive centre who focus on customer satisfaction and uphold high standards of safety. We run all PADI courses from Bubblemaker to Divemaster as well as offering daily guided dives.

 What we offer:

• Full time fixed contract (6 months to start with possibility to extend)
• Competitive salary plus commission
• 1-2 day off per week
• Use of  vehicle (if required)

• Vacation days as indicated by contract
• We are looking for someone who is/has:
• Fluent in English (Spanish/French/German a bonus)
• EU Passport (for work permit purposes)
• Clean driving license
• 25 years or older for vehicle insurance purposes
• Own Equipment
• In teaching status with professional insurance

About the job:

The successful candidate will be required to do a mixture of both teaching and guiding dives. Most of our dive sites are from the shore, some with rocky entry/exits so they must be comfortable with this as well as competent to help guests in and out if necessary. The instructor must be comfortable working independently as well as being a team player.

Responsibilities and tasks would include:

• Conducting PADI courses
• Guiding certified divers
• Picking up/ dropping off customers
• Dive centre logistics (filling tanks, rinsing equipment, loading/unloading, cleaning, key holding)
• Sales
