PADI Instructor for Djibouti

Join our team as an instructor at the only PADI 5* dive center in Djibouti, located in the Horn of Africa! We offer a range of activities including diving, snorkeling, and whale shark watching, as well as liveaboard trips and PADI courses.

As an instructor, you will be responsible for:

• Guiding certified divers
• Handling logistics for day trips and liveaboard cruises
• Performing basic office tasks
• Teaching PADI courses
• Checking and maintaining scuba equipment (if necessary)

To qualify for this position, you must:

• Be fluent in French and English, with French being mandatory
• Hold a PADI OWSI or higher certification in active status, with specialties in Deep and Wreck being a plus
• Have a driving license and the ability to drive a manual stick shift
• Have the ability to service and maintain dive equipment, including Bauer compressors
• Have excellent customer service skills
• Have a clean police record (as we work with the US Navy and US Embassy)
• Have your own diving equipment

In return, we offer:

• A paid one-way flight upon fulfilling the contract
• Paid PADI renewal (if you stay for 1 year)
• A 1-month paid holiday with a return ticket (if you stay for more than 1 year)

This position is available for a 6-month contract (ending in June) with the possibility of a long-term contract (1 year or more). The starting date is mid-January 2023.
