Full-time PADI MSDT

Golden Rock Dive Center in beautiful and quiet St. Eustatius, Dutch Caribbean is seeking a full-time PADI MSDT or higher to expand our team on a long term basis (min 1 year contract)
Employment to start once visa, paperwork etc is in place.
Applicants must be fully vaccinated with a booster shot for Covid 19 and must be able to pass the requirements for immigration to St Eustatius.
Responsibilities include (but are not limited to) instructing classes, guiding dives, filling tanks, staffing retail shop, marketing, equipment maintenance, repairs, and general cleaning & maintenance during quieter days.

Golden Rock Dive Center offers the following compensation for its employees

• 6 day per week work schedule (1 day off every week) Work hours are generally 8 AM to 4:00 PM, with occasional night dives

Applicants should be/have:

• American or Dutch citizenship is preferred due to work visa, BUT other nationalities could be considered for the right candidate. 
• PADI MSDT (or higher) in active teaching status
• Professional Dive Insurance & Own all required gear 
• have a valid drivers licence and be able to drive a standard shift vehicle
• Must be fluent in English
• Team oriented with conflict resolution attitude
• Flexible with good problem solving skills
• Can-do attitude
• Committed to Safety and following standards
• Friendly and welcoming to customers
• Enjoy quiet, slow-paced living with nature focused activities (Statia is a very quiet island without many bars, parties, shopping, etc but lots of hiking, snorkeling, historical opportunities).
• Fluency to teach/brief in French, Dutch or Spanish is a plus 
• Experience in dinghy driving and operating boats with a single screw inboard engine, compressor maintenance, and diesel engine experience are all a major plus.
